Explooring further afield in Costa Tropical

GRANADA – the capital of the province and one of the most attractive cities in Spain. Home to the magnificent hilltop ALHAMBRA PALACE , known as the eighth wonder of the world, in a wonderful setting at the foot of the snow capped SIERRA NEVADA mountains. Take the `ruta touristica` for a fabulous scenic drive out of Almunecar

SIERRA NEVADA – a local road leads out of Granada to a height of over 2500 mtrs to this skiing area. In good conditions you can carry on to Valeta, a 3400mtr peak (the highest point in Spain). It is actually possible to sunbath on the beach in La Herradura in the morning and ski in the Sierras in the afternoon!

24_fullLA ALPUJARRA- the lazy summer days on the beaches of The Costa Tropical are no excuse for passing the opportunity of getting to the heart of Andalucia further inland. Here you will be surprised to find untouched whitewashed villages and culture deeply rooted in tradition
NATURE RESERVES and PARKS –Pena Escrita Nature Park is a complex ideal for nature lovers and those keen on active sports. Also visit the tropical valleys of LOS GUAJARES and LECRIN

Other Andalucian towns are MALAGA, SEVILLE, CARMONA and CORDOBA – each famous in their own right and each offering a wealth of culture .

Testimonials

A stunning villa with outstanding facilities in a wonderful location. Great views over the bay and only a short walk to the town for great restaurants and bars. We enjoyed a wonderful short break here in March and had the most amazing weather- the perfect getaway.
